Who can order custom apparel from Do It Customs?
Individuals, businesses and organizations of many sizes can order from Do It Customs. We serve small businesses, corporate teams, restaurants, bars, cafés, construction companies, contractors, schools, teachers, sports teams, medical and dental offices, spas, salons, nonprofits, clubs, events and retail businesses.
How do I get started with a custom apparel order?
Choose the product you want to customize, select the available size and color, then provide your logo, artwork, name or personalization details when requested. For a larger project—or if you need product guidance—submit a custom apparel quote request with your approximate quantity and deadline.
What if I do not know which apparel product to choose?
Tell us what the apparel will be used for, how many pieces you need, your preferred style and budget, whether you want embroidery or printing, and whether it will be worn indoors or outdoors. We can help narrow down suitable custom apparel products for your project.
Can Do It Customs outfit my entire staff or organization?
Yes. We can coordinate custom apparel for businesses, schools, teams, restaurants, construction crews, medical staff and other organizations. A group order can often include multiple sizes and apparel styles while keeping the same logo and consistent branding.

Custom Embroidery FAQs
Learn how embroidered logos, names, placements and the one-time digitizing process work.
What is custom embroidery?
Custom embroidery uses thread to stitch a logo, name, monogram or design directly onto apparel or accessories. It creates a durable, professional finish that is especially popular on embroidered polos, jackets, hats, beanies, workwear, scrubs, aprons and business uniforms.
Can you embroider my business logo?
Yes. Business and organization logos can be embroidered on many eligible products. Upload the best-quality version of your logo with your order or quote request so we can review the artwork and determine what it needs for embroidery.
What is embroidery digitizing?
Embroidery digitizing converts a standard logo or image into a specialized stitch file that tells an embroidery machine how to sew the design. A JPG, PNG or PDF cannot be stitched directly, so a new logo normally needs this production setup before its first embroidered order.
Is there a digitizing fee for embroidery?
A one-time digitizing fee may apply when Do It Customs prepares a new logo for embroidery for the first time. Once the embroidery file is created and approved, we keep it on record.
Do I pay the embroidery digitizing fee every time I order?
No. If Do It Customs already has an approved embroidery file for the same unchanged logo, the original digitizing setup normally does not need to be repeated. A new fee may be needed if the artwork changes significantly or requires a different production setup.
Does custom printing require a digitizing fee?
No. Embroidery digitizing specifically creates a stitch file for an embroidery machine. Printing does not require an embroidery digitizing fee, although artwork preparation may be needed if the submitted image is not suitable for high-quality printing.
Can names or job titles be embroidered with a business logo?
Yes, when the product and available customization area allow it. Employee names, credentials, job titles and other personalization are popular additions to staff polos, jackets, scrubs, aprons and workwear.
Where can a logo be embroidered?
Available embroidery locations depend on the garment and design. Common placements include the left or right chest, hat front, beanie front, sleeve, apron chest and suitable towel placement areas. The individual product and logo size determine which placements are available.
Can every logo be embroidered exactly as it appears?
Not always. Very small lettering, extremely fine lines, gradients and intricate details may need to be simplified or adjusted so they reproduce cleanly in thread. If production changes are needed, we will discuss the design with you before it is embroidered.
Custom Apparel Printing FAQs
Compare printing with embroidery and learn which artwork and garments work well for printed designs.
Does Do It Customs offer custom printed apparel?
Yes. Do It Customs offers custom printing on eligible apparel and accessories. Printing is commonly used for T-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, event shirts, school apparel, team apparel, business promotional shirts and designs with larger or more detailed graphics.
Should I choose printing or embroidery?
Choose embroidery for a dimensional, professional finish on logos for polos, jackets, hats, workwear, scrubs and uniforms. Choose printing for larger graphics, detailed or full-color artwork, T-shirts, hoodies, promotional apparel and event designs.
If you are unsure, send us your project details and we will help you choose the right customization method.
Can you print a full-color business logo?
Many full-color business logos can be reproduced through apparel printing. Final suitability depends on the artwork, garment and printing method, so upload your highest-quality logo for review.
Can you print photographs or detailed artwork?
Some apparel printing methods can reproduce detailed and multicolor artwork more effectively than embroidery. The final quality depends heavily on the original file, so send the highest-resolution artwork you have.
Logos, Artwork & Design Files
Sending clean, high-quality artwork helps produce a better embroidered or printed result.
What type of logo file should I upload?
Upload the highest-quality version of your logo available. PNG, JPG, JPEG and PDF files are useful for reviewing a project. If you have professional vector artwork—such as an AI, EPS or SVG file—mention it when you submit your request.
What if I do not have a print-ready logo?
Send us the best file you have. If the current logo needs cleanup, resizing, background removal, digitizing or other preparation before it can be printed or embroidered, we will explain what is needed.
Can I upload my logo before placing a large order?
Yes. Upload your logo with a bulk custom apparel quote request so we can review it alongside the products, quantities and customization methods you are considering.
What if my logo file has a background?
Upload the best version you have. Depending on the file and customization method, the background may need to be removed or the artwork may need other preparation before production.
Can Do It Customs recreate or clean up my artwork?
Some artwork can be cleaned up, resized or prepared for production. If additional design work is required or a fee applies, we will let you know before proceeding.
Do I need permission to use a logo or design?
Yes. Customers are responsible for confirming that they own or have authorization to reproduce every logo, design, trademark, image or other piece of artwork submitted for customization.
Custom Order Proofs & Approval
Proof approval is the final opportunity to check the design details before custom production begins.
Will I receive a proof before my custom order is produced?
Custom work requiring a proof is reviewed before production. The proof gives you an opportunity to check the visible design, personalization and general placement before the finished merchandise is created.
What should I check on my custom apparel proof?
Carefully check spelling, names, dates, numbers, logos, artwork, wording, layout, general placement, personalization information and every other visible design detail. Approve the proof only after everything is correct.
What happens after I approve my proof?
Once you approve the proof, the design is considered approved for production and work may begin. Please review it carefully because customized merchandise is produced from those approved details.
Can I change my design after approving the proof?
Changes after proof approval cannot be guaranteed because merchandise may already have been ordered and production may begin immediately. Contact Do It Customs as quickly as possible if you discover an issue.
What if I approve a spelling mistake on the proof?
Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing proofs. If the finished product accurately matches a spelling, name, number or other detail shown in the approved proof, it is generally considered customer-approved rather than a Do It Customs production error.
See the complete Return and Refund Policy before approving custom work.

Does Do It Customs offer bulk custom apparel orders?
Yes. Do It Customs handles larger custom apparel orders for businesses, schools, teams, organizations, events and other groups. Visit our bulk orders page to share your products, quantity, artwork, sizes and deadline.
Do larger custom apparel orders receive quantity pricing?
Many products may qualify for quantity or bulk pricing. The final price can depend on the garment, quantity, sizes, brand, printing or embroidery method, number of decoration locations, artwork requirements and embroidery stitch count.
What quantity is considered a bulk order?
Bulk pricing varies by product and project. If you are ordering for a staff, team, school, organization or event, send your approximate quantity and we will determine which quantity-price options apply.
Can a bulk apparel order include different sizes?
Yes. Most group apparel orders can include a range of sizes so each person receives the appropriate fit. Available sizes depend on the selected product and manufacturer.
Can I use the same logo on different apparel styles?
Often, yes. A business may coordinate polos, jackets, hats, aprons and other pieces with the same company branding. The logo may require size or production adjustments for different garments and decoration areas.
Can employees choose different apparel while keeping the same logo?
Depending on the project, multiple garments can be coordinated under the same branding. This is useful when departments, job roles or work environments require different types of employee apparel.
Can you help me choose apparel for my employees?
Yes. Tell us your industry, work environment, approximate quantity, budget, preferred appearance and customization method. We can help narrow down products that fit the practical and branding needs of your team.

Products, Colors & Sizing FAQs
Check brand-specific size information and product options before approving customized merchandise.
What apparel brands does Do It Customs carry?
Do It Customs offers products from a variety of blank apparel, uniform, workwear and performance brands. Availability varies by product, color and size. Visit Shop by Brand to browse current options.
How do I choose the right apparel size?
Review the sizing information provided with the specific product before ordering. Fit and measurements can vary between brands and styles, so the same labeled size may not fit identically across every garment.
Can I order different sizes in the same order?
Yes. When a product offers multiple sizes, select the sizes needed for your order. Bulk and group orders can generally include a range of sizes.
Are extended or plus sizes available?
Some products are available in extended sizes. The size range depends on the garment and manufacturer, so review the options shown on each product page or ask about alternatives for a coordinated group order.
Why do some extended apparel sizes cost more?
Some garment manufacturers charge more for extended sizes. When an extended-size surcharge applies, it will be reflected in the applicable product or option pricing.
Will the garment color look exactly like it does on my screen?
Not always. Screen settings, photography, lighting, fabric and dye lots can affect how colors appear digitally. Product images are helpful for choosing a color, but slight differences between the screen image and physical garment can occur.
Custom Apparel Ordering & Pricing
Understand minimum quantities, quotes and the factors that affect printing and embroidery prices.
Can I order only one customized item?
Some Do It Customs products can be ordered individually or in small quantities. Requirements vary by product and decoration method, so review the listing or contact us if you are unsure.
How is custom apparel pricing determined?
Pricing depends on the product, quantity, size, garment brand, printing or embroidery method, design requirements, number of decoration locations, embroidery stitch count and any artwork preparation needed.
Why can embroidery pricing vary by logo?
Embroidery designs vary in physical size, stitch count and complexity. A large or detailed logo normally requires more stitching and production time than a small, simple design, which can affect the final embroidery price.
Can I get a custom apparel quote before ordering?
Yes. Use the custom quote form or bulk orders page. Include the product type, approximate quantity, artwork, sizes, deadline and desired customization so we can evaluate the project accurately.
Order Cancellations, Returns & Refunds
Custom-made merchandise has special cancellation and return rules. The full current policy controls if this summary differs from it.
Can I cancel a custom order?
Yes, within the cancellation window. Do It Customs provides a 24-consecutive-hour cancellation period beginning at the exact date and time the order is placed and payment is completed. A cancellation request received within that window is eligible for a full refund under the current policy.
Read the complete Return and Refund Policy or contact us as soon as possible to request cancellation.
Why can I not cancel after the first 24 hours?
Do It Customs may purchase or commit to inventory, blank merchandise, supplies and other materials specifically for the order shortly after it is placed. Artwork preparation, embroidery digitizing, design work or other order preparation may also begin.
Does proof approval give me another 24 hours to cancel?
No. Proof approval does not restart or extend the original 24-hour cancellation period measured from the time the order was placed and payment was completed.
Can customized merchandise be returned?
Custom, personalized, embroidered and printed merchandise is generally final sale after the applicable cancellation period because it was produced specifically for the customer. Exceptions may apply for a verified production error attributable to Do It Customs or when a remedy is required by law.
What if Do It Customs makes a production mistake?
If the finished merchandise is materially different from the approved proof because of a verified production error attributable to Do It Customs, contact us within the claim period described in the Return and Refund Policy.
What problems may qualify as a production error?
Potential production errors may include incorrect personalization, the wrong logo or item, materially crooked or misplaced customization, a significant embroidery or printing defect, or another verified production problem attributable to Do It Customs.
How long do I have to report a production problem?
The current standard claim period is 30 calendar days beginning on the date the order was shipped. Inspect customized merchandise promptly after delivery and follow the reporting instructions in the current Return and Refund Policy.
Can I return customized apparel because I ordered the wrong size?
Customized merchandise generally cannot be returned because the customer selected the wrong size when Do It Customs supplied the size ordered. Review the product’s brand-specific size information carefully before purchasing.
Custom Apparel Shipping FAQs
Production must be completed before carrier transit begins, so plan early for events and deadlines.
Is custom apparel production time included in shipping time?
No. Production time and carrier transit time are separate. Your custom order must be reviewed, prepared, approved when applicable, customized, inspected and packaged before it is transferred to the shipping carrier.
When does production of my custom order begin?
Production can depend on receiving payment, final product selections, sizes and quantities, personalization details, artwork, customer responses and any required proof approval. If required information or approval is delayed, production may also be delayed.
How long does a custom apparel order take?
Timing varies with order quantity, product availability, customization method, design complexity, artwork quality, proof approval and seasonal volume. Any date is an estimate unless Do It Customs specifically confirms a guaranteed date in writing.
Can you guarantee delivery by my event date?
Contact Do It Customs before ordering if you have a firm event date. Providing a requested date does not by itself create a guaranteed delivery date unless Do It Customs expressly confirms that guarantee in writing. Ordering early is strongly recommended for time-sensitive projects.
Will I receive tracking information?
When tracking is available, it may be sent to the email address associated with your order after the completed merchandise ships. Allow time for the carrier’s tracking system to update after a label is created.
What if I entered the wrong shipping address?
Contact Do It Customs immediately. We will make reasonable efforts to correct the address before shipment, but changes cannot be guaranteed after an order has been processed or transferred to a carrier. Additional charges may apply if a package must be redirected or shipped again because of a customer-provided address error.
Read the complete Shipping Policy.

How should I wash custom printed apparel?
Follow the care instructions provided for the garment and customized product. Avoid bleach, chemicals, treatments and temperatures that are not recommended for the item or decoration method.
Is normal wear considered a production defect?
No. Normal wear and tear, improper washing, misuse, heat damage, bleach, chemicals and other damage occurring after delivery are not considered Do It Customs production errors.
