About Do It Customs

Custom Apparel Built by People Who Understand Small Business

Do It Customs is a custom apparel company built to help businesses, teams, schools and organizations look professional, stay consistent and bring their brand to life.

We provide custom embroidery and printing on apparel, workwear, uniforms, hats, accessories and more—with personal service and a much simpler approach to ordering custom products.

Behind Do It Customs is founder Jennifer Rosa, a small-business owner, embroiderer, designer, marketer and longtime supporter of other local businesses.

And that combination is exactly where Do It Customs began.

Meet Jen

Hi, I’m Jen, the founder of Do It Customs.

I’ve spent a huge part of my working life around small businesses and the people who keep them running.

I’ve worked in hospitality, built websites and SEO strategies for business owners, created embroidered and printed products, designed merchandise, worked with logos and branding, and helped businesses figure out how to present themselves professionally both online and in the real world.

Over time, those worlds started coming together.

I kept seeing the same need: businesses wanted great-looking shirts, uniforms, hats and branded gear, but ordering custom apparel could be confusing, expensive or unnecessarily complicated.

Sometimes they didn’t know which shirt to choose.

Sometimes they had a logo but didn’t know whether it should be embroidered or printed.

Sometimes they needed 50 employee shirts in different sizes and didn’t want to spend hours figuring everything out.

And sometimes they simply wanted someone they could ask:

“What would you recommend?”

That’s the kind of company I wanted Do It Customs to be.

Why I Started Do It Customs

Do It Customs grew from hands-on experience—not from a corporate business plan.

I’ve worked directly with restaurants and bars, construction companies, schools, teams, medical and spa businesses, local organizations and other small-business owners.

I’ve seen what happens to work shirts after a long shift.

I understand why a construction crew needs something completely different from a restaurant staff.

I know that the polo that looks great in an office may not be the shirt someone wants to wear behind a bar for eight hours.

And I know that when a business owner orders apparel, they’re not really buying “a shirt.”

They’re putting their name, reputation and brand on something another person is going to wear.

That matters to me.

More Than Putting a Logo on a Shirt

Custom apparel should make sense for the people wearing it.

That’s why we think about more than just where your logo goes.

We help customers consider:

  • The right garment for the job
  • Embroidery versus printing
  • Fabric and durability
  • Fit and sizing
  • Brand and color options
  • Logo placement
  • Employee names and personalization
  • Mixed-size orders
  • Reordering in the future
  • Budget and quantity

Sometimes the best solution is an embroidered polo.

Sometimes it’s a soft printed T-shirt.

Sometimes it’s work jackets, hats, aprons, scrubs, hoodies or high-visibility apparel.

And sometimes it’s a combination of all of them.

Our goal is to help you build something that works for your business, rather than forcing every customer into the same package.

A Small Business Serving Other Businesses

Do It Customs is intentionally hands-on.

We’re a growing small business, and Jen remains involved throughout the process, with trusted helpers lending a hand when needed.

That means we’re able to provide something that’s difficult to get from a giant online apparel company:

actual personal attention.

If something doesn’t make sense, ask us.

If you’re unsure which product to choose, ask us.

If your logo may not embroider well, we’d rather talk about it before production than send you something we aren’t proud of.

And if you’re trying to outfit an entire team and don’t know where to begin, we’ll help you work through it.

We want ordering custom apparel to feel manageable—even if you’ve never ordered branded apparel before.

Built for Real Businesses, Teams & Organizations

Do It Customs works with customers across many industries and organizations, including:

  • Restaurants, bars and cafés
  • Construction companies and trades
  • Corporate and office teams
  • Schools and educators
  • Medical, dental, spa and wellness businesses
  • Salons
  • Sports teams
  • Nonprofit organizations
  • Retail businesses
  • Events and groups
  • Service businesses
  • Small businesses of all kinds

Whether you need a few personalized pieces or apparel for an entire staff, we’ll help you find the right products and customization options for the job.

Embroidery, Printing & Personalization

We offer professional customization across a growing selection of apparel and accessories.

Depending on the product, options may include:

Embroidery
Ideal for logos, names and professional branding on polos, jackets, hats, beanies, workwear, scrubs, aprons and more.

Custom Printing
Great for T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, detailed artwork and larger designs.

Names & Personalization
Employee names, monograms and other individualized details can be added to many products.

If you’re not sure which method is right for your logo, that’s okay.

We’ll help.

Your Logo Doesn’t Disappear After Your First Order

One of the things we want to make especially easy is reordering.

When a new logo needs to be prepared for embroidery, it must first be converted into a specialized embroidery file through a process called digitizing.

A one-time digitizing fee may apply when a new logo is prepared.

Once that embroidery file is created and saved, we keep it on file so future orders using the same design generally don’t require you to pay the digitizing fee again.

Your brand shouldn’t have to start from scratch every time you need another shirt.

Why Customers Choose Do It Customs

We’re not trying to be the biggest custom apparel company.

We’re trying to be the company you actually enjoy working with.

That means:

Personal service.
You’re working with real people who care about the finished product.

Real-world experience.
We understand small businesses because we work with them—and we’re one too.

Flexible options.
Different businesses need different garments, quantities, price points and decoration methods.

A growing selection.
We offer apparel and accessories from trusted brands across multiple styles, industries and budgets.

Help when you need it.
You don’t have to understand embroidery, garment specifications or printing terminology before contacting us.

That’s our job.

From My Business to Yours

Do It Customs has grown from the combination of so many things I’ve learned over the years—customer service, hospitality, embroidery, printing, design, marketing, websites, branding and most importantly, working with other business owners.

I know how much work goes into building something with your name on it.

That’s one of the reasons I care so much about what leaves ours.

Whether we’re creating staff shirts for a neighborhood restaurant, embroidered jackets for a construction crew, scrubs for a medical office or apparel for a school or team, I want you to be excited when you open that order.

And I want Do It Customs to be the company you come back to when you need the next one.
