Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: August 16, 2026

Welcome to Do It Customs.

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of DoItCustoms.com and purchases, quote requests, custom orders, artwork submissions, and other transactions made with Do It Customs.

By using our website, placing an order, submitting artwork, approving a proof, or purchasing products or services from Do It Customs, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and any policies incorporated into them.

Please review these terms carefully before placing an order.

1. Custom Products & Services

Do It Customs provides customized, personalized, embroidered, and printed apparel and accessories.

Products may include, but are not limited to:

  • T-shirts
  • Polos
  • Hoodies and sweatshirts
  • Jackets and workwear
  • Hats and beanies
  • Hi-vis apparel
  • Scrubs
  • Aprons
  • Towels
  • Bags
  • Business apparel
  • School apparel
  • Team apparel
  • Other customized products and accessories

Because many products are produced specifically for an individual customer, business, school, team, organization, or event, special ordering, proof approval, cancellation, return, and refund rules apply.

2. Accuracy of Order Information

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate information when placing an order.

Please carefully review:

  • Product
  • Style
  • Size
  • Color
  • Quantity
  • Personalization
  • Names
  • Dates
  • Numbers
  • Spelling
  • Logo files
  • Artwork
  • Shipping information
  • Other order details

Do It Customs is not responsible for errors resulting from incorrect information supplied or approved by the customer.

If you notice an error after placing an order, contact us as soon as possible.

Changes cannot be guaranteed once merchandise has been ordered, artwork has been prepared, a proof has been approved, or production has begun.

3. 24-Hour Cancellation Period

Customers may cancel an order for a full refund within 24 consecutive hours from the date and time the order was placed.

The cancellation period begins at the exact time the order is submitted and payment is completed.

For example, an order placed at 3:00 PM on Monday must be canceled by 3:00 PM on Tuesday to qualify for the standard full-refund cancellation period.

After 24 hours, customer-requested cancellations are generally non-refundable because Do It Customs may have already purchased, ordered, reserved, or committed to:

  • Blank merchandise
  • Inventory
  • Supplies
  • Artwork preparation
  • Embroidery digitizing
  • Design services
  • Production resources
  • Other materials required for the order

This applies even when the final customized merchandise has not yet been completed or shipped.

The 24-hour cancellation period does not limit any cancellation or refund rights that cannot legally be waived.

Please review our Return & Refund Policy for complete cancellation and refund terms.

4. Proofs & Customer Approval

Custom orders may require a proof before production.

The purpose of the proof is to allow the customer to review the design before customization begins.

Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing the entire proof, including:

  • Spelling
  • Names
  • Dates
  • Numbers
  • Logos
  • Artwork
  • Wording
  • Layout
  • Design placement
  • Personalization
  • General color selections
  • Other visible design details

Approval through email, text message, our website, or another written communication authorizes Do It Customs to produce the order according to the approved proof.

Once a proof is approved, the approved design is considered final.

If the finished product accurately reflects an error that was visible in and approved on the proof, that error is considered customer-approved and is not ordinarily considered a Do It Customs production error.

Proof approval does not restart or extend the original 24-hour cancellation period.

5. Production After Proof Approval

Once a required proof has been approved, production may begin immediately.

Changes requested after proof approval cannot be guaranteed and may result in:

  • Additional charges
  • Additional production time
  • New artwork or setup fees
  • Replacement merchandise costs
  • Inability to make the requested change

If production has already begun, Do It Customs may be unable to alter or stop the order.

6. Customer-Supplied Logos, Artwork & Designs

Customers may submit logos, artwork, photographs, text, graphics, designs, trademarks, names, or other content for customization.

By submitting content to Do It Customs, you represent that:

  • You own the content; or
  • You have authorization or permission from the owner to use and reproduce it; or
  • You otherwise have the legal right to request that Do It Customs reproduce the content on the merchandise ordered.

Customers are responsible for obtaining any permissions required to reproduce copyrighted, trademarked, licensed, or otherwise protected material.

Do It Customs does not assume that possession of a logo or image automatically establishes ownership or authorization to reproduce it.

We reserve the right to request documentation of permission or refuse an order when we reasonably believe submitted material may infringe another party’s rights.

7. Intellectual Property Claims

The customer is responsible for customer-supplied content and the authorization to use that content.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the customer agrees to be responsible for third-party claims, losses, or expenses arising from customer-supplied content that the customer did not have the legal right to reproduce.

Do It Customs reserves the right to suspend or cancel production if we receive a credible claim that submitted artwork may infringe intellectual-property rights.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of a customer’s original logo, trademark, artwork, or other intellectual property to Do It Customs.

8. Artwork Preparation & Embroidery Digitizing

Some artwork may require preparation, cleanup, resizing, conversion, or embroidery digitizing before production.

Additional fees may apply.

Embroidery digitizing converts artwork into a production file that instructs embroidery equipment how to stitch a design.

When Do It Customs prepares a customer’s logo for embroidery, the embroidery production file may be retained so that the approved logo can be used on future orders.

A customer generally does not need to pay the same Do It Customs digitizing setup fee again when the existing approved embroidery file can be reused without modification.

Significant logo changes, resizing requirements, redesigns, or other production changes may require additional setup or digitizing work.

Customer ownership of the underlying logo or artwork remains unchanged.

Internal production files created by Do It Customs are not automatically included as customer deliverables unless otherwise agreed in writing.

9. Design & Artwork Adjustments

Some designs may require adjustments to reproduce successfully through embroidery or printing.

Do It Customs may recommend or make reasonable production adjustments such as:

  • Increasing small lettering
  • Removing extremely fine detail
  • Adjusting line thickness
  • Simplifying artwork
  • Changing embroidery stitch structure
  • Adjusting print dimensions
  • Repositioning a design for production

When an adjustment materially changes the visible design, we may provide an updated proof for approval.

10. Colors & Digital Proofs

Colors displayed on computer monitors, phones, tablets, and digital proofs may vary from the appearance of:

  • Physical garments
  • Embroidery thread
  • Printed ink
  • Fabric
  • Product materials

Different screens and materials can display or reproduce colors differently.

Unless a specific color-matching service has been expressly agreed upon in writing, digital proofs are intended to represent the general appearance of the finished design rather than guarantee exact screen-to-product color matching.

11. Reasonable Manufacturing Variations

Embroidery, printing, garment construction, and other physical manufacturing processes can produce minor variations.

Reasonable variations may include slight differences in:

  • Placement
  • Stitching
  • Print positioning
  • Thread appearance
  • Garment measurements
  • Fabric texture
  • Dye lots
  • Product construction

Minor variations that do not materially affect the quality or intended appearance of the product are not considered production defects.

Significant production errors remain subject to our Return & Refund Policy.

12. Sizing

Sizing can vary between apparel brands, product styles, and manufacturers.

Customers are responsible for selecting the appropriate sizes when ordering.

When manufacturer sizing information or size charts are available, customers should review them before placing an order.

An item that fits differently than expected is not ordinarily eligible for a return or refund when Do It Customs supplied the size that was ordered.

If we provide a size different from the size ordered, the issue may qualify as a production or fulfillment error under our Return & Refund Policy.

13. Prices

Prices displayed on our website are subject to change.

We make reasonable efforts to maintain accurate pricing, product information, and customization charges.

If an obvious pricing, technical, or website error occurs, Do It Customs may contact the customer before production to correct the issue.

We will not knowingly substitute materially different pricing or merchandise without informing the customer.

14. Quotes

Quotes may be based on information available at the time they are prepared, including:

  • Product
  • Quantity
  • Sizes
  • Customization method
  • Artwork
  • Stitch count
  • Printing requirements
  • Supplier pricing
  • Shipping
  • Other project specifications

A quote may need to be revised if order requirements change.

Unless otherwise stated, a quote does not reserve merchandise indefinitely.

15. Bulk & Group Orders

Large business, school, team, organization, or group orders may require special ordering, production, payment, and shipping arrangements.

Customers are responsible for confirming final:

  • Quantities
  • Sizes
  • Colors
  • Names
  • Numbers
  • Artwork
  • Other personalization details

before production begins.

Changes after merchandise has been purchased or production has started may result in additional charges.

16. Payment

Payment is required according to the terms displayed at checkout or provided with an individual quote or invoice.

Orders may not enter production until required payment has been received.

Payment processing may be provided by third-party payment companies, which maintain their own terms and privacy practices.

17. Taxes

Applicable sales, use, or other transaction taxes may be collected when required.

Customers remain responsible for taxes or other amounts lawfully applicable to their purchases.

Organizations requesting tax-exempt treatment may be required to provide acceptable documentation before the order is completed.

18. Shipping

Custom production time and carrier shipping time are separate.

Shipping times displayed by carriers generally refer to carrier transit after an order has been completed and shipped.

Production may depend on:

  • Product availability
  • Artwork preparation
  • Digitizing
  • Proof approval
  • Quantity
  • Customization requirements
  • Customer responses
  • Other production considerations

Please review our Shipping Policy for complete shipping terms.

If Do It Customs cannot ship merchandise within an applicable promised shipping timeframe, we will provide any delay notice, cancellation opportunity, or refund required by applicable law.

19. Returns & Refunds

Because customized and personalized products are generally produced specifically for each customer, they are subject to our separate Return & Refund Policy.

After the applicable 24-hour cancellation period, custom orders are generally final sale except for verified Do It Customs production errors, defects, or circumstances where applicable law requires another remedy.

Customers should inspect completed orders promptly.

Please review the Return & Refund Policy before ordering.

20. Production Errors

Do It Customs stands behind its workmanship.

If a finished product is materially inconsistent with the approved proof because of an error attributable to Do It Customs, please contact us within the claim period stated in our Return & Refund Policy.

Examples may include:

  • Incorrect personalization
  • Wrong logo
  • Incorrect merchandise
  • Materially crooked or misplaced customization
  • Significant embroidery defects
  • Significant printing defects
  • Other production errors attributable to Do It Customs

Minor manufacturing variations are not necessarily defects.

21. Customer Accounts

Customers who create accounts are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.

You are responsible for activity occurring through your account when that activity results from your failure to safeguard account credentials.

Please contact us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

22. Acceptable Website Use

You agree not to use DoItCustoms.com to:

  • Engage in unlawful activity
  • Submit malicious software or harmful code
  • Attempt unauthorized access to the website or another user’s account
  • Interfere with website operation or security
  • Submit fraudulent orders
  • Provide deliberately false information
  • Violate another person’s intellectual-property rights
  • Misuse forms, uploads, checkout systems, or website functionality

We reserve the right to restrict access or cancel transactions involving fraudulent, abusive, unlawful, or harmful activity.

23. Right to Refuse an Order

Do It Customs reserves the right to decline or cancel an order when reasonably necessary, including circumstances involving:

  • Suspected fraud
  • Unauthorized payment activity
  • Intellectual-property concerns
  • Illegal content or activity
  • Unavailable merchandise
  • Technical or pricing errors
  • Production limitations
  • Threatening or abusive conduct
  • Content we reasonably determine we cannot or will not reproduce

If Do It Customs cancels an order that has been paid and no goods or services have been provided or committed in a manner permitting us to retain payment, an appropriate refund will be issued.

Nothing in this section limits rights provided by applicable law.

24. Product Availability & Substitutions

Garment brands, colors, sizes, and styles may occasionally become unavailable from manufacturers or suppliers.

If merchandise becomes unavailable after an order is placed, we may contact the customer to discuss alternatives.

Do It Customs will not intentionally substitute a materially different product in a custom order without customer authorization.

If an acceptable alternative cannot be arranged, the affected unavailable merchandise will be handled in accordance with applicable law and our policies.

25. Third-Party Services & Websites

Our website may use or link to services operated by third parties, including:

  • Payment processors
  • Shipping carriers
  • Analytics providers
  • Website technology providers
  • Social networks
  • Other external websites

Do It Customs does not control the independent websites, policies, or practices of third parties.

Your use of third-party services may also be subject to their terms and privacy policies.

26. Privacy

Your use of our website and submission of personal information are also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Please review that policy for information regarding how Do It Customs collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information.

27. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

If you believe there is a problem with an order or charge, please contact Do It Customs so we have an opportunity to review and resolve the issue.

Nothing in these Terms prevents a customer from exercising legitimate rights available through a payment provider or applicable law.

If a payment dispute or chargeback is filed, Do It Customs may provide relevant transaction documentation to the payment processor or financial institution, including:

  • Order records
  • Proof approvals
  • Customer communications
  • Shipping records
  • Tracking information
  • Photographs
  • Production records
  • Applicable policies

to accurately document the transaction.

28. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Do It Customs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from a product or order, including lost profits, lost business opportunities, or losses resulting from a customer’s event or deadline.

To the extent permitted by law, Do It Customs’ liability relating to an individual order will not exceed the amount actually paid to Do It Customs for the affected portion of that order.

These limitations do not apply where applicable law prohibits such a limitation.

29. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control

Do It Customs will not be responsible for delays or inability to perform caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, such as:

  • Severe weather
  • Natural disasters
  • Carrier interruptions
  • Supplier disruptions
  • Power or internet outages
  • Equipment failures that could not reasonably be prevented
  • Government actions
  • Emergencies
  • Other extraordinary circumstances outside our reasonable control

We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant delays and fulfill any obligations required by applicable law.

30. Policy Changes

Do It Customs may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in:

  • Products
  • Services
  • Website functionality
  • Business practices
  • Legal requirements
  • Related policies

The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised Last Updated date.

Terms applicable to an order will generally be those in effect when the transaction occurred, except where subsequent changes are required by law or agreed to by the parties.

31. Governing Law

To the extent permitted by applicable law, these Terms & Conditions and transactions with Do It Customs will be governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Nothing in this provision deprives a consumer of rights that cannot legally be waived or restricted.

32. Severability

If any portion of these Terms & Conditions is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.

33. No Waiver

If Do It Customs does not enforce a provision of these Terms in one instance, that does not automatically waive our right to enforce the same or another provision in the future.

34. Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions, together with the policies and order-specific agreements referenced here, form the terms applicable to your use of the website and transactions with Do It Customs.

Applicable policies include:

  • Privacy Policy
  • Shipping Policy
  • Return & Refund Policy
  • Any written quote, invoice, proof, or order-specific agreement that applies to a transaction

If an order-specific written agreement expressly conflicts with a general provision of these Terms, the specifically agreed order term will control for that order to the extent permitted by law.

35. Contact Do It Customs

If you have questions about these Terms & Conditions or an existing order, please contact Do It Customs through our Contact Us page.

When contacting us about an existing purchase, please include your order number whenever possible.
